An exciting blend of youthful speed and experience has been enlisted to help Peter Brock win a record tenth Bathurst crown at Mount Panorama on November 22/23 in this year's international 24 hour Enduro.

Joining Brock for the Bathurst 24 Hour race in the awesome 7-litre Just Car Insurance Holden Monaro CV8 will be Holden V8 Supercar stars Greg Murphy, Jason Bright and Todd Kelly.

"A tenth Bathurst victory might seem like a dream at the moment, but how can you go wrong with talented people like Greg Murphy, Jason Bright and Todd Kelly, and a winning car like Monaro?" said Brock.

"Bathurst represents the ultimate in Australian motor racing and I think my job this time around is going to be a lot easier when you consider the calibre of my co-drivers.

"Being young blokes, they'll be able to handle the difficult dawn and dusk driving stints where the fabled gigantic kangaroos that had the Europeans in such a frenzy last year may appear," Brock joked.

Both Murphy and Bright have tasted success at Mount Panorama before, 31-year-old Murphy hot off his dominating third win in the 1,000km V8 Bathurst race last month.

"It's hard to dream of just winning Bathurst once, especially like [my Kmart team] did last month, so to be given the opportunity to do it twice in the one year is pretty exciting," said Murphy. "Each of my three Bathurst wins have special memories and to be able to help Brock win his tenth would be pretty cool!"

Bright, who drives for Team Brock in the V8 Supercar Series, said his 05 Monaro would be the perfect vehicle to carry the four to victory in the gruelling 24-hour race.

"The Monaro is a terrific car to drive, quite easy when compared with the V8 Supercar, and, as last year's victory showed, it is perfectly suited to the mountain," Bright said.

Kelly says that while he had not yet won at Bathurst he was confident of registering his first success at Mount Panorama later this month.

"The approach to the 24-hour race is quite different from the 1,000km race and we are well aware of what is required," said Kelly. "All of my team-mates have won at Bathurst before and I'll be relying on their help to get me my first win there - we have everything we need to do it."

The red #05 Just Car Insurance Holden Motorsport Monaro CV8 will be joined at Mount Panorama by the defending champions - Steven Richards, Garth Tander, Nathan Pretty and Cameron McConville - in last year's race-winning yellow #427 car.
