Drivers: Marcus Gronholm (Peugeot), Markko Martin (Ford), Sebastien Loeb (Citroen), Petter Solberg (Subaru) and Kristian Sohlberg (Mitsubishi).

Press conference:

Q:
Marcus [Gronholm], the weather is currently warm and the snow is melting, will these conditions make the event more difficult?

Marcus Gronholm:
No, but it will be more difficult for the tyres. I am confident about this event, but with the new car this year we will just have to wait and see.

Q:
Markko [Martin], how do you feel about this event?

Markko Martin:
It is good fun and it's high speed - one of my favourites.

Q:
Sebastian [Loeb], what were conditions like in the shakedown?

Sebastien Loeb:
It wasn't so bad in spite of the weather. There was gravel of course but not so bad.

Q:
Petter [Solberg], how have you changed your driving style for this event?

Petter Solberg:
Mainly by being more aggressive. However once this one is over I will be back to being Mr Smooth again! I have a good feeling about this event. It was similar conditions when Subaru and Pirelli won the last time, back in 1997.

Q:
Kristian [Sohlberg], Sweden marks your first appearance with the 'new' Mitsubishi Motors Motor Sport team. What are your targets?

Kristian Sohlberg:
My goal is to finish the rally.

Q:
What does it mean to you to have Tommi Makinen's former co driver, Kaj Lindstrom, by yout side?

KS:
Kaj has brought some good things from Tommi and his experience is a real help.
