Both M-Sport Ford's of Antony Warmbold and Alistair Ginley will compete in the Rally Catalunya - Costa Brava this weekend.

The event is new to both Warmbold and Ginley, who travelled straight to Vic yesterday [Monday] to prepare for the recce today.

Ginley says he has no idea what to expect from the Spanish stages.

"While we did not complete the rally in Corsica, we are pleased that it gave us a chance to reaquaint ourselves with the Focus after a two month break," said the Brit, "We are looking forward to heading straight to the Catalunya recce and concentrating on our notes for next weekend, while the team install our new engine."

Warmbold meanwhile was happy with his Corsican debut - where he finished 14th - and says he has a good base from which to start in Spain this weekend.

"The car has been brilliant and we have been able to fine tune our set-up for Catalunya," noted the German, "We are expecting the Spanish roads to be better in a sense as we hear there is much less cutting on the new Catalunya stages so we are hoping the roads will be a lot cleaner."
