Citroen's Sebastien Loeb has won the Rally Argentina Sunday, beating Marcus Gronholm by 26.1 seconds.

Loeb has now one six events in succession and seven thus far this year - both new records - with 7 more rounds still to go.

Petter Solberg had to settle for third and the final place on the podium in his Subaru Impreza, while Ford team leader, Toni Gardemeister won the battle for fourth, leaving Mitsubishi driver, Harri Rovanpera fifth.

Markko Martin took a lonely sixth, after a rather dismal showing. The Estonian ended the event nearly 4 minutes behind his team-mate, Gronholm, in the sister 'works' 307.

Francois Duval took seventh place on his return to the Citroen line-up ahead Manfred Stohl, who secured the final point in his semi-privateer Xsara WRC, entered by the OMV backed Kronos Racing team.
