Henning Solberg will put in a 'guest' appearance with the Munchi's Ford World Rally Team in Mexico.

Henning, who normally runs under the Stobart VK Ford WRT banner, albeit in an orange Team Expert livery, will be nominated for the Argentine squad alongside Federico Villagra.

Villagra's team-mates for the other nine events have yet to be confirmed, although it is known that Luis-Perez Companc will definitely do three WRC rounds - in addition to competing in the FIA GT championship with a Ferrari 430, while 2007 Fiesta Sporting Trophy International champion, Barry Clark is also thought to be in line to do three events.

Henning's last outing was ultimately disappointing as an off on day 2 in Sweden cost him the chance to take a podium.

The Norwegian still finished the event on a high though and a clean sweep of fastest times on the final day will have boosted his confidence for this round. Indeed he is again targeting a top-three finish.

"I'm looking forward to this rally and getting back onto gravel. I have a very good feeling now after Sweden because we were very quick there," he noted.

"I think I can do quite well here in Mexico and I will be aiming for the top-three because I have a very good road position on Friday and if it doesn't rain it will help me a lot.

"I have been doing some more training for this event because it can be very demanding on the body especially with the thin air.

"I struggled a bit last year with feeling because of the engine power loss with the altitude but this year we have an 07 Focus so we will see what this does.

"I am going to try my best here and hopefully we can finish in the points which will help both myself and the Munchi's team."
