With Sebastien Loeb having clinched the drivers' title on the Rally Japan last month, the big matter still to be decided on the Rally GB this weekend was the destination of the manufacturers' crown.

Coming into the event the Citroen Total WRT were the favourites - thanks to an eleven-point advantage - and with Loeb winning in Wales and Dani Sordo taking third, the French marque did more than enough to ensure it beat the 'Blue Oval'. In the end the BP Ford Abu Dhabi WRT finished 18 points adrift.

The other matter still to be settled was the P-WRC and with Juho Hanninen failing to finish and Andreas Aigner finishing second, the latter takes the 2008 Production crown.
