Ott Tanak will compete in the FIA World Rally Championship again next year thanks to DMACK and M-Sport.

Tanak competed with the M-Sport Ford World Rally Team in 2012, but found himself without a seat this season and forced to watch from the sidelines, although he still did some rallying in his native Estonia.

The 26-year-old now rejoins the DMACK line-up after making his world rally car debut with the squad at Wales Rally GB in 2011, where he finished sixth overall and scored DMACK's first-ever world rally championship points. Tanak will dovetail nine events in the DMACK Fiesta R5 with three in a Ford Fiesta RS WRC as part of a separate programme. His WRC2 challenge for DMACK will kick off in Mexico.

"After a year away from the world rally championship, I'm very happy to be back with a strong programme - thanks to DMACK and M-Sport we can do pretty much the full season," he said.

"My first race in a WRC car was with DMACK and I know the team and the tyres well so it will certainly be an exciting season to look forward to."

Jari Ketomaa will also fly the flag for the newly-formed 'Drive DMACK Team', piloting an Autotek-run Fiesta R5 with his programme commencing on February's Rally Sweden.

"I've seen how much effort DMACK has put into developing and improving its tyres over the last few years and the results I have achieved this season have been very strong. This is a great opportunity for 2014 and it will be enjoyable for me to partner with Ott - I think this will be a strong team for WRC2 next year," said the Finn, who took the WRC2 win in Finland this year and who was second in WRC2 on WRGB.

Dick Cormack, DMACK motorsport director, meanwhile is pleased to see Tanak come back onboard and link up with Ketomaa for a joint assault on WRC2. The announcement of the formation of the 'Drive DMACK Team' also coincided with confirmation the Anglo-Chinese manufacturer will continue as an authorised tyre supplier to the WRC for a fourth year.

"With the new Drive DMACK team I believe we have a seriously strong platform to demonstrate the true performance of our motorsport tyres," he said.

"Every season, DMACK has stepped up a gear, constantly evolving our products to suit the ultra-tough conditions and competition at the highest level of rallying. We have the opportunity to build on some great performances from 2013 and, with Ott and Jari, a very strong driver line-up to target WRC2 victory next year. Pirelli and Hankook join us in the WRC next season and we are really looking forward to the challenge of competing against those well-established brands," Cormack concluded.
