Sebastien Ogier remains firmly on course to win Rally Mexico and with just one stage to go still heads the pack by over a minute.

Ogier began the final day just over 60 seconds up on Volkswagen team-mate, Jari-Matti Latvala and despite his advantage, he was still very quick. Indeed he won SS19, and was then second in SS20 and third in SS21: "I didn't want to take any risks," Ogier said, "but I found a good rhythm."

Latvala meanwhile thought he had a suspension problem in SS20, but his fears appear to be unfounded and he was second quickest in SS21.

Behind, Thierry Neuville remains third in his Hyundai, ahead of the Fiesta R WRC cars of Elfyn Evans, Martin Prokop and Bentio Guerra in positions 4 through to 6. Chris Atkinson holds seventh, with Rally 2 re-starters Mikko Hirvonen, Kris Meeke and Mads Ostberg eighth, ninth and tenth respectively.

In WRC2, Yuriy Protasov is still on top and still on course for the class win, despite breaking a front driveshaft in SS19 - the Super Special.

The event now concludes with the Power Stage - a repeat-run through the 8.25 km El Brinco test, ran yesterday as SS16. It is due to start at 12.08 hours local time [18.08 hours UK time].
