Hyundai WRC number one driver Thierry Neuville will be joined by Juho Hanninen on Rally Poland at the end of June, the team has confirmed.

Hanninen had been due to compete in Argentina last weekend, but in the end, Dani Sordo got the nod off the back of his impressive outing in Portugal. Hanninen, who competed for the team in Sweden and Portugal, will also drive the #8 car in Sardinia next month as well.

"With the [Rally Poland] itinerary featuring fast and flowing gravel stages - a kind of terrain very familiar to Finnish drivers - selecting Hanninen to partner Neuville was the ideal choice," said the Alzenau-based team.

Hyundai will have three cars in action in Poland, as Hayden Paddon will also drive a Hyundai i20 WRC, scoring points for the Hyundai Motorsport N team, as previously announced.

Meanwhile, Hyundai has also revealed it will participate in this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed with Sordo set to drive. The event will mark the first public appearance of the Hyundai i20 WRC in the UK. Sordo will tackle both the legendary 1.16-mile Goodwood Hillclimb and the hugely popular Forest Rally Stage twice daily from June 27 to 29, the same weekend as Rally Poland.
