It's no surprise Sebastien Ogier is your WRC Driver of the Year again. The Frenchman was in a class of his own in 2015, leading the championship throughout and in the end secured his third successive WRC Drivers' title with three events still to go.

Ogier began the year better-than-ever with wins in Monte Carlo, Sweden and Mexico, and while mechanical gremlins put pay to hopes of a fourth win on the trot in Argentina, after that he wasn't off the podium until the title was safely secured, with victories in Sardinia, Poland, Germany and Australia and runners-up spots in Portugal and Finland, assuring him of the title and affirming this is very much the Ogier-era of WRC competition.

The late error in Spain aside - his only mistake of the year, when he crashed out in the final test with a dominant lead of over 50s - Ogier strengthened his stranglehold on the sport in 2015 and again made the most of the dominant Volkswagen Polo R WRC.

He is also now one of only four drivers with three or more titles, putting his name in the same exclusive club as Sebastien Loeb (nine), Juha Kankkunen and Tommi Makinen (four each).

About the vote:
Rather than repeat the Drivers' World Championship standings, the World Rally Driver of the Year poll asks readers to take into account factors such as machinery, performance relative to a team-mate, driving style, experience, injuries, progress and personality just as much as race results.
