Jeremy Guarnoni has confirmed he will join the World Superbike Championship ranks in 2014 riding an EVO-specification MRS Kawasaki ZX-10R.

The 2010 European Superstock 600 Champion has spent the last three seasons competing in the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup, during which time he has accumulated a total of three race wins.

Finishing third overall in 2013, the Frenchman - who also won the prestigious Bol d'Or endurance race alongside Loris Baz and Gregory Le Blanc this year - had previously signalled his desire to step up to World Superbikes in 2014, as demonstrated by a recent test outing on upgraded machinery at Jerez.

Guarnoni has now taken to his Twitter account to confirm he has arranged a deal that will see him remain with MRS and ride a Kawasaki ZX-10R EVO in 2014, posting: "So happy to announce that I'm going to ride in SBK EVO next season with Team MRS."

The 20-year-old becomes the latest rider to confirm his EVO entry, following on from Michel Fabrizio and Sheridan Morais, who will also ride EVO-specification Kawasakis in 2014.

In addition, Fabien Foret is being lined up to ride a Mahi Kawasaki EVO next year, with Guarnoni's former SSTK 1000 rival Sylvain Barrier expected to ride a BMW in the sub-category.
