Geoff May is looking to make his belated World Superbike Championship race debut at Motorland Aragon after it was confirmed he has suffered four fractures to his collarbone.

The American, along with team-mate Aaron Yates, was set to lead Team Hero Erik Buell Racing's much anticipated WSBK debut at Phillip Island last week, but an accident during free practice left him nursing an injured collarbone.

That injury has now been confirmed as four fractures, ruling May out from testing the new 1190 RX prior to the next event in Spain.

Despite this, a statement from the team maintained that May is still expected to race at the Alcaniz circuit on April 12-13.
