Full warm-up results from Assen World Superbike

Alvaro Bautista has edged Jonathan Rea in Sunday morning’s warm-up session ahead of the revised race schedule following the snow cancellations yesterday.

After snow forced a hasty programme shuffle, race one takes the place of the sprint race on Sunday morning before being followed by the standard race two at the Dutch circuit.

Bautista, who will start both races from pole position, topped warm-up by 0.131s in chilly conditions ahead of World Superbike title rival Rea, while BMW’s Tom Sykes continues to keep in close contention in third place within two-tenths of the pace-setting Aruba.it Racing Ducati.

Leon Hasalm slotted into fourth place for Kawasaki ahead of Pata Yamaha duo Alex Lowes and Michael van der Mark with the second BMW of Markus Reiterberger in seventh place.

Jordi Torres enjoyed an impressive warm-up in eighth place for Pedercini Kawasaki ahead of Puccetti Kawasaki’s Toprak Razagatlioglu as Marco Melandri rounded out the top 10 for GRT Yamaha ahead of team-mate Sandro Cortese.
