Alex Lowes will be providing exclusive video updates with Crash.net from the Suzuka 8 Hours as he looks to defend the Yamaha Factory Racing Team’s title alongside Michael van der Mark and Katsuyuki Nakasuga.

The British rider, fresh from securing a new World Superbike deal with the factory Yamaha squad, topped the opening day of practice at Suzuka with the #21 Yamaha fractionally ahead of the #11 Kawasaki of Jonathan Rea, Leon Haslam and Kazumi Watanabe.

During the build-up to this weekend’s Suzuka 8 Hours Lowes shared his thoughts on the 2018 race, how preparations have been going with Yamaha and how to set-up the YZF-R1 at the iconic Japanese circuit.
