Ondrej Jezek headed up a Ducati 1-2-3 as the first round of the 2014 FIM Superstock 1000 Cup got underway with first free practice at Motorland Aragon.

Jezek, who spent the 2013 season riding a privateer Ducati 1199 Panigale R, steps up the official Barni Ducati outfit for this season, the Czech rider getting his tenure with the team off to a strong start as he topped FP1 from start-to-finish.

He headed up Fabio Massei and fellow Barni rider Leandro Mercado for a convincing Ducati 1-2-3 performance, with Matthieu Lussiana and Lorenzo Savadori leading the Kawasaki charge in fourth and fifth places respectively.

British newcomer Kyle Smith was a solid sixth best on the Racedays Honda, ahead of Marc Moser, who remained seventh best despite a crash during the latter stages of the session.

Smith's team-mate Joshua Day was eighth fastest, with Pedercini Kawasaki team-mates Romain Lanusse and Balazs Nemeth completing the top ten.
