Lorenzo Savadori opened Saturday's proceedings by leading team-mate Kev Calia in an Aprilia one-two in FP3 for the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup.

As the top three were separated by just three hundredths of a second on Friday afternoon, championship leader Savadori put some clear space between himself and the rest of the field, ending the session 0.35s clear of Calia.

Both Nuova M2 Racing Aprilias lapped the newly-resurfaced Misano track faster than Ondrej Jezek's best time from Friday, the Czech rider failing to better his best effort from the previous day.

Lingering in eighth overall on Friday, Roberto Tamburini underscored his intentions to challenge Savadori by posting the fourth fastest time, 0.39s off the leader.

Behind came Kev Coghlan and Fabio Massei, neither of whom improved, while Raffaele De Rosa lapped one thousandth of a second quicker than Jeremy Guarnoni to sit a provisional seventh overall.

Like MRS Yamaha team-mate Coghlan, Florian Marino didn't better his time from FP2 and was pushed back to ninth as a result, a place ahead of Christoffer Bergman.
