PJ Jacobsen moved to the top of the timesheets in the second World Supersport free practice session, held at a wet and rainy Sepang.

Deteriorating conditions between the two practice sessions - following a dry FP1 - would see lap times considerably down on earlier in the day, with Jacobsen on the CORE Honda braving it out to lead the way with a 2m 23.544secs lap.

Proving 1.6secs faster than anyone else, it was Kenan Sofuoglu that followed in second place, the Turk putting the difficult events of the week to stay remarkably competitive on what will be an intensely difficult weekend for him.

Kyle Smith completed the top three for PATA Honda, ahead of title contender Jules Cluzel, and all four CIA Insurance Hondas of Gino Rea, Martin Cardenas, Ratthapong Wilairot and Aiden Wagner. Lorenzo Zanetti and Glenn Scott completed the top ten.
