Kenan Sofuoglu and Jules Cluzel finished Tuesday morning's World Supersport session in first and second, showing signs that the men that lit up the 2015 season could yet be the principle challengers in the upcoming season.

As track temperatures climbed above 40 degrees, times were significantly slower than Monday afternoon with Sofuoglu's fastest lap of 1m 34.436s a full 0.8s off Randy Krummenacher's best time of the test.

Sofuoglu went faster than the rest of the field to the tune of eight tenths of a second early on but Cluzel quickly got up to speed, getting to within 0.17s of the reigning world champion's fastest time.

Still walking with a significant limp after breaking his left tibula and fibula while engaged in an absorbing championship battle in Jerez, 2015, Cluzel was the fastest of the MVs as Lornini Honda's Kevin Wahr finished the morning third.

Randy Krummenacher was the fourth and final rider to lap under the 1m 35s mark, with PJ Jacobsen a place behind in fifth.

Building on his promising showing on Monday morning, Kyle Ryde again impressed in sixth, 0.811s behind Sofuoglu.
