Kenan Sofuoglu has taken a clean sweep of top spots in all free practice sessions at Imola and has produced a comfortable margin of over 0.7 seconds from Jules Cluzel.

The Kawasaki Puccetti Racing rider has looked streets ahead of the chasing pack at the Italian circuit all weekend and duly displayed it by storming to the front with a 1m 51.282s - almost three quarters of a second ahead of Cluzel.

A late improvement from Sofuoglu's team-mate Randy Krummenacher saw him jump to third ahead of qualifying and in front of Honda's PJ Jacobsen as Ondrej Jezek completed the top five.

The home crowd were treated to a barrage of Italian riders at the sharp end with fellow countrymen obtaining the next six places on the timesheet in FP3. Alessandro Zaccone led the home nations ahead of Axel Bassani, Alex Baldolini, Aytron Badovini as Lorenzo Zanetti rounded out the top ten just in front of Federico Caricasulo.
