Kenan Sofuoglu has reclaimed top spot in the final World Supersport free practice session at Donington Park with a four-tenths advantage over nearest rival PJ Jacobsen.

The defending World Supersport champion, who announced he is re-signing with Puccetti Kawasaki for 2017 on Friday, topped FP1 but after losing a chunk of track time due to an off in FP2 slipped to third in a tightly contested front four.

In favourable conditions Sofuoglu jumped back to the top with a 1m 30.857s to take the fastest lap of the weekend into Superpole qualifying. PJ Jacobsen enjoyed a strong session finding gains on the Honda to take second ahead of Luke Stapleford on the Profile Racing Triumph.

Friday's fastest rider Gino Rea claimed fourth having been unable to match his best times of the weekend ahead of Ayrton Badovini and Randy Krummenacher.

Federico Caricasulo continued to impress on the Evans Bros Honda as Kyle Smith, Axel Bassani and Alex Baldolini rounded out the top ten positions.
