Kenan Sofuoglu has continued his World Supersport title charge with a third consecutive victory in the restarted race at Donington Park while championship leader Lucas Mahias ensured it was damage limitation with second place ahead of Jules Cluzel.

After the initial race was red flagged due to Xavier Cardelus Garcia's MV Agusta spilling oil on the track at Goddards, the World Supersport race was shortened to a 13 lap sprint with Sofuoglu looking comfortable throughout to manage a gap on Mahias and Cluzel before easing off to win by over two seconds.

The French pair were involved in a race-long scrap for second place having traded places and Cluzel's ambitious last-lap pass at the Melbourne Loop pushed him wide to allow Mahias back through and secure second place.

Luke Stapleford won a race-long battle with Jack Kennedy, standing in as his team-mate at Profile Racing Triumph for the injured Stefan Hill, with Sheridan Morais producing a late race charge to sixth place for Kallio Racing Yamaha.

Anthony West fought hard for seventh place ahead of Kyle Smith and Hikari Okubo as wildcard entry Joe Francis for Halsall Racing Yamaha.

Kyle Ryde just missed out on the top ten for Puccetti Racing Kawasaki but stayed ahead of Gino Rea on the Team Go Eleven Kawasaki as Hannes Soomer, Roberto Rolfo and Kazuki Watanabe rounded out the points places.
