The unveiling of the first Formula Master chassis in the UK late last week has served to boost the number of enquiries into the series from teams interested in taking part, according to organisers.

Demand for information about the WTCC-supporting International Formula Master Series increased considerably since the launch of the Formula S2000 race car at Autosport International last Thursday [11 January], with the number of confirmed sales rising from 26 to 36 in the 24 hours following its introduction.

"This is great news," admitted series director Mauro Sipsz, "It goes without saying that I am extremely pleased with the reception International Formula Master has been given over the last couple of days. Teams love the complete package that has been put together and the significant increase in cars sold validates all the hard work that has gone into launching the car."

The series will begin testing in Italy later this month.
