It has been announced that Zengo Motorsport, the only Hungarian outfit to race full time in the FIA WTCC will continue as Honda's 'B' team in the championship, the same arrangement as the current season.

Zengo Motorsport have taken two victories in the championship, including race one last time out at Suzuka for Honda. They will have a 2014-regulation Honda, built by touring car engineering experts JAS Motorsport.

With four races still to go in the current campaign, Norbert Michelisz has a realistic shot at third in the championship and he is only 27 points behind current bronze medal holder Tom Chilton with more than 150 points still to play for.

Michelisz has taken one victory and five podiums for his team in their first season with some manufacturer support in the championship, building from their days as a privateer BMW team. The 29-year-old Hungarian said that he was looking forward to fighting again for strong results in 2014.

"I'm very happy with having the possibility to continue with Zengo Motorsport and Honda'' said the popular driver. "With the experience we built up since 2010 and the help from JAS Motorsport and Honda [this year], I am confident we'll have the potential to fight for top positions in 2014."

It is understood that Zengo Motorsport are working on a deal with Honda to have a second car allocated for the team, with various drivers mooted for the drive, although this is currently unconfirmed.

Gabor Weber has been mooted as a possible second driver.
