# After hearing a protest from Andretti Green Racing, Roger Bailey, the executive director of the MIPS, has re-instated the pole to driver Marco Andretti for Sunday's MIPS Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

It was determined by Bailey that the spec variation did not improve performance and was unintentional. Bailey stated that he has reinstated the pole position after hearing subsequent interviews and doing further due diligence.
