Seven time MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi has agreed to become a Motorcycle Tyre Development Adviser for Bridgestone.

Rossi's role will include his evaluation and opinions on the performance of Bridgestone motorcycle tyres, particularly in the hyper sport, racing and sport touring sectors.

Bridgestone in turn will use his input to deliver road tyres with better performance and improved safety margins.

"Valentino Rossi is a great ambassador for our company," said Takashi Tomioka, SVP Sales & Marketing, Bridgestone Europe. "By having advice and recommendations of the greatest motorcycle competitor of all times, we will ensure that we bring the best new Battlax tyres to the market."

Bridgestone is the sole tyre supplier for the MotoGP World Championship. Rossi has won two titles, in 2008 and 2009, with the Japanese tyres.

I partly -partly- understand your point, but I don't agree at all, especially on having now to make a big red "X" on everything has to do with Vale and with the Duc.

What's all the hate with Vale? He's given so much to the two wheels!
Polen, Foggy, Bayliss... Come on, let's be real, do you really think Vale is less worhty, less fighty and less competitive than these guys? REALLY?

By the way, are you Italian?
