Valentino Rossi's Sky Racing Team VR46 team has completed its 2018 rider line-up by signing Luca Marini alongside Francesco Bagnaia in Moto2, with Dennis Foggia joining Nicolò Bulega in Moto3.

The news means there will be no place for Andrea Migno, who took his first Moto3 victory at Mugello this season, or Bagnaia's current team-mate Stefano Manzi.

20-year-old Marini, half-brother of Rossi, is currently in his second season of Moto2 with Forward Racing. The Italian has finished in the top 10 on five occasions, including a fourth place at Brno.

Luca made big strides this year. Good to see him get the Sky ride -- it's a competitive team & for sure his teammate, no matter who, will be competitive also. It's hard to ignore the fact that he must've felt the pressure considering his (half)brother is one of the GOAT of the sport.
