Andrea Dovizioso claims back-to-back MotoGP wins for Ducati with victory in the Catalunya Grand Prix!

Repsol Honda team-mates Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa joined the Italian on the podium in sweltering conditions.

Tenth for Yamaha's world championship leader Maverick Vinales means he is now just seven points ahead of Dovizioso.

The start saw a scary incident between Danilo Petrucci and Marquez, which was being investigated by Race Direction. Petrucci fell from fifth in the closing stages.

Bradley Smith missed the race due to a finger injury on Saturday, while Sylvain Guintoli was again replacing injured rookie Alex Rins at Suzuki.

Bravo Dovi... bravo!

Just like a bus, you wait ages then two come along at once.

Now 7 points behind Vinales in the Championship, could he fight for the title? I wouldn't mind seeing him win the championship.

Good day for Ducati, Honda & Tech3.

Terrible race for Yamaha... will they test the 2016 chassis tomorrow. Could be an idea.

Assen next, remember who goes well there... Dovi!

I'll bet that no one is thinking has Casey anything to do with the Ducatis success.
Ducatis come a long way.
Congrats to Dovi he rode a great race.
J L is slowly but surely getting better.
I'm so happy that Ducati is getting better it makes me very happy that they are on the up

lek25: Yearby23
I wish that all the things you wish for VR to happen to JL.[\blockquote]

The thing is I wish Rossi would find some consistency and win more races and a 10th championship, that's my genuine view on Rossi.

I just don't understand why people are so in need to see Lorenzo fail... [\blockquote]
Than I wish the same thing for JL. People can say what they want JL is geting faster how much faster we will see. Ducati didnt spend $$$ for nothing. Actullay you can see the results already. Dovi is winning races while JL is geting faster and faster.

I wish that all the things you wish for VR to happen to JL.

Great ride again from Dovi, can't take anything away from him.

But tyres are playing WAY too big a part in this championship.

RD500: I can't understand how bad he is doing on the Suzuki.[\blockquote]

I think that particular relationship is definitely on the rocks. Suzuki must be desperately hoping Rins can get up to speed soon.

I am Dovi's fan and I am so, so happy that he has now won two tyre tests....oops my mistake ......I meant to say two races in a row.

edited this to respond to 1MoreRound ....Crash dot keeps crashing :-

@ 1MoreRound. except me. Dovi has been the 4th or 5th 'alien' many times over the years. Has beaten every rider on the grid, past and present, on many occasions as well. Always beaten his team mates whatever he has ridden too.

Yearby23.......couldn't agree more.

I think it's all about the Money. Rossi took a lot of stick for getting 15 mil and not succeeding and now Jorge is getting the same treatment and for the same reason.

Two thoughts :-

I like Dovi.

Bloody tyres !

Hello Ausssi,.......I didn't know Miller was helping out with Ducati development.

Talking of Aus riders, it has been very quiet on the Stoner front lately. Is he actually testing for them, or watching from trackside and advising ? I asked my brother in law in Australia but he doesn't know.

Whatever, I can't keep the smile off my face about Dovi.....and looking forward to Jorge getting second places, tyres permitting of course.
