The forecast rain arrived on Saturday morning at Phillip Island, with Marc Marquez quickest in the wet conditions despite a late fall.

Jorge Lorenzo suffered a much bigger accident, at Turn 8, limping away before heading to the medical centre for checks.

Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi were among those denied the chance to try and break into the combined top ten due to the rain and will therefore take part in Qualifying 1.

Home star Jack Miller is returning to action after breaking his right tibia in a trials incident on September 29.

Tech 3's Jonas Folger returned to Germany on the eve of the Motegi round to undergo tests for a suspected recurrence of the Epstein Barr virus and is replaced this weekend by Broc Parkes.

simpleton is 6th and double the number is FORZAVALE

As the old saying goes 'Don't feed the Troll'.

How long is Zarco contracted w/Tech-3? If he doesn't get the factory M1 by his 3rd year, another factory will scoop him up for sure!

Without a doubt!  Earlier this season it could have been a one hit wonder how he was leading some races, but he's made a believer out of me.  This kids talented!

All guys geting upto speed... really great for MOTOGP... Every race should go like last corner thriller like Moto3...I think we see tht in coming seasons... Suzuki,Aprillia,KTM really can fight for Championship near future... MOTOGP getting even thrilling unlike F1's one man show...or two...really F1 needs to learn from MOTOGP tht bringing max. teams to fight for front...

2017 Season. Motogp. 5 Different winners.  F1. 5 Different winners.  Motogp. 4 races to go, 2 title contenders. F1 3 Races to go, 2 title contenders.

In the last 7 years. Motogp. 3 Different champions, two different Teams. Honda 4 titles

                                    F1   3 Different champions, two different teams.  Red Bull 4 titles.

Not as different as you think.

If it stays wet then I can't see Rossi getting out of Q1. Fifth or sixth row start could be the best he can manage.

@ar9237..

Yes i agree about  all factory can compete in near future... And motogp races will be more attractive intertainment...

About f1. They have different way..they still have  a lot of fans, especially traditional fans (i mean is they to be fan because their parent, or their family as a f1 fans).

I just confuse about iannone,  at the first he have a lot of complain about suzuki bike,  but after alex rins back to race after injury,  we can see his performance increasing. It's about the bike or just about his motivation ?
