Bradenws: I'm slowly becoming convinced that Leon Haslam is overrated. If it's the lack of a competitive bike that's holding him back, why isn't he at least somewhat close to Rea on a regular basis?
Haslam is struggling a bit now but he has done 1000% better than any other Honda rider (besides Rea) in the last 5 years on the Ten Kate team. Leon is consistent top 8-10. That is nothing to jump about but Rea has been on this beast his whole adult life...both LH and JR were wounded racers last year so Haslam is on the back foot as he did not get a proper season on the Honda. He did beat JR in Phillip Island last year and matched him up to the point when he was injured...
