
18-year-old Briton Arvid Lindblad will make his F1 debut in 2026 with Racing Bulls.
Lindblad, born in Virginia Water in Surrey to a Swedish father and a mother of Indian descent, will partner Liam Lawson at Red Bull's sister team Racing Bulls for his rookie F1 season.
The highly-rated teenager has been handed his F1 debut after being selected to replace Isack Hadjar, who was promoted to Red Bull.
Lindblad was marked out as a potential future star by Red Bull when he was 12 years old as a karting sensation who rose up the ranks.
He won the LGM Series and the British Championship in the IAME Cadet Series in 2017, before continuing his success at European and world championship level.
Lindblad won the inaugural 2020 Champions of the Future event in OK-J, and then the WSK Euro Series and Final Cup.
Red Bull signed Lindblad to their junior team in 2021 as he made the transition into single seaters, gaining some intitial experience with a cameo in Italian F4.
In 2023, Lindblad won the Macau GP in F4 and secured a top-three finish in the Italian F4 series. Lindblad then progressed to F3 the following year, winning four times on his way to fourth place in the standings.
Lindblad won his first single-seater title in the 2025 Formula Regional Oceania Championship, before claiming three victories and finishing sixth in an impressive rookie season in F2.
Having notched up two F1 practice runs under his belt, Lindblad graduates to the highest echelon of world motorsport in 2026.
