Reigning MotoGP champion and 2009 title leader Valentino Rossi has expressed sadness at the withdraw of Casey Stoner from the next three rounds of the championship.
Engine rule ends burnouts?
Valentino Rossi has indicated that the new MotoGP engine rules, which come into force at this weekend's Czech Republic Grand Prix, will reduce on-track tricks and celebrations - such as tyre-smoking burnouts - due to the strain they put on the engine.

Casey Stoner will continue to ride on in this year's MotoGP World Championship despite being diagnosed with 'slight gastritis and mild anaemia', an illness that will continue to see him receive treatment for the next few weeks.
