Erkut Kizilirmak

A relative late-comer to circuit racing, Erkut Kizilirmak debuted in the BTCC in 2006 with VX Racing, taking in selected events in a works Astra Sport Hatch. At the end of the year he purchased the Astra Sport Hatchs from the works team and brought his own Arkas Racing team into the series, with Tech-Speed being charged with running the lone car in 2007.

For 2008, Erkut found himself running with a team-mate after joining forces with fellow Independent runner Martyn Bell in an expanded two-car team with backing from Sunshine.co.uk
