F1 Monza LIVE: Reaction after astonishing Antonelli fightback to Italian GP victory

Antonelli is lifting off on every high-speed area of the track. 

Verstappen has just about fallen out of range of overtake mode. 

Behind the leaders, Piastri is fourth from Hamilton, with Norris, Gasly, Lindblad, Tsunoda, and Bearman completing the top 10. 

Alonso has pitted for Aston Martin and has retired the car. 

Antonelli appears to have listened to Mercedes, unlike Russell, and is working with his team-mate to pull a gap on Verstappen. However, since they've stopped battling, the Red Bull driver has closed back up significantly. 

Lap 23, and Russell takes the lead once again. He holds the position this time. 

The lead keeps changing hands. Russell takes it back into Turn 1 on lap 22, he blocks the inside line at the della Rogia chicane, but Antonelli takes to the outside and makes it work anyway! 

Russell tries it at Turn 1 again this time, but Antonelli pulls over and blocks the line. 

Hold the phone, Russell takes the lead back into Turn 1, but Antonelli uses his battery around the Curva Grande, and pulls clear again. The pair could work together to clear Verstappen here, but that would require some cool heads. 

Antonelli holds the inside for Turn 1 on lap 19 of 53. Russell managed to draw right alongside, but was unable to pass while Verstappen ducked and dived behind the duo. 

Antonelli has been told to "race clean". Antonelli is closing, closing, closing, and sweeps around the outside into Turn 1! Antonelli leads the Italian Grand Prix! 

"The car is completely broken on the rear axle." Verstappen reports the same problem as yesterday, but he keeps going for now. 

Antonelli is up to P2! He goes around the outside of Verstappen at the Curva Grande. Only Russell can deny him the race lead now. 

But Russell attempts another move on Verstappen into Turn 1. He makes it work at Curva Grande. The four-time champion is now between the championship-chasing Red Bulls. 

Antonelli is about to take P2 from Russell. 

Lawson has just pitted for Red Bull and is back on the medium tyres. He will comfortably be able to make it to the flag. 

Russell is giving it everything to pass Verstappen as Antonelli closes to within range of overtake mode. 

Onto the podium goes Antonelli with a pass on Piastri on only lap 13 of 53. 

Here we go! Verstappen takes the lead on the run down the pit straight. Russell tries to comeback on the Red Bull driver, but he can't make it work. 

Piastri and Antonelli have now both passed Hamilton! P4 for Antonelli. 

Hamilton snatches third place off Gasly. He pulls alongside into the opening chicane, and cuts in front of the Alpine. And it gets worse into Ascari, as Piastri and now Antonelli find their way past. 

Antonelli's charge has now stalled in P6. He's 0.7s back on Piastri, but may just be recharging his battery.

Alpine could have had more right now, but all focus is now on Gasly for the Enstone team. 

Verstappen takes Gasly into the Parabolica and holds the position into Turn1. Antonelli now has to fend off Norris as the hard tyres hit the working window. 

Hamilton defends from Piastri, but the pair have Antonelli right on their tail. Medium tyres look like the best option right now. The hard tyres just do not have the grip right now. 

Antonelli moves up to P6 along the pit straight! He could well win this! 

Verstappen gets every inch of his elbows out on Colapinto, and the Argentinian is now right out on the gravel at the Lesmo. He recovers it, but is way down the order. Antonelli is up to P8!

Colapinto is up to third, clearing Verstappen at the launch. It's an Alpine 2-3!
