The formation laps for the sprint race at the Singapore Grand Prix are underway
The latest plan from the FIA is to do two formation laps behind the safety car...
The formation lap for the Singapore GP sprint race will take place at 17:30 Local Time (10:30am BST)
The FIA will conduct another inspection lap at 17:15 local time (10:15am BST)
Whilst we await a new start time, the FIA has released this update...
“Medical Car on track for further inspection. Area of concern is T2/T3 where there is a lot of standing water”
The sprint race should have been getting underway now, but currently we have no news on when the new start time will be after heavy rain caused this delay
The reason for the delayed start has been given by the FIA: “Start delayed due to the rain, there is a large amount of standing water around turn 2 and 3”
There will be a delay to the start of the first-ever sprint race in Singapore due to the weather conditions...
This sprint race could be a real unknown for the drivers.
The first-ever sprint race in Singapore, and now in wet conditions...
