Verstappen is classified fifth ahead of Grosjean, Ocon, Perez and Sainz, while Stroll crosses the line in 10th to claim a point for Williams. What a race!


Hamilton wins the Italian Grand Prix and extends his championship advantage over Vettel. 

Raikkonen crosses the line to take second, with Verstappen finishing third on the road but he will drop back to fifth, meaning Bottas takes the final podium spot with Vettel moving up to fourth. 


Hamilton begins his final lap. 


Bottas continues to shadow Verstappen and looks to be happy just to take the place once Verstappen's penalty is applied. You can't really blame him wanting to avoid wheel-to-wheel action with the Dutchman, given how angry he is!


Hamilton now leads by five seconds as Raikkonen looks to have given up the chase as he nurses his tyres, while Bottas is just 0.5s behind Verstappen. Time for round two?


Verstappen has been handed a five-second time penalty for his contact with Bottas as the drama continues at Monza! He will surely lose third to Bottas but could this help out Vettel too?


Hamilton went around the outside of Raikkonen under braking and held the line into the next corner. Raikkonen was fair in his defence and Hamilton now leads by 2s as the Finn looks to be struggling. 


Hamilton passes Raikkonen into Turn 1! He leads the Italian Grand Prix with less than 10 laps to go. 


Verstappen and Bottas collide into Turn 1 and Bottas is forced down the escape road. He loses four seconds to Verstappen and the incident is under investigation. 


Hamilton is much closer to Raikkonen on this lap. He's all over the back of him. 


Bottas is flying on the Soft tyres and is almost within DRS range of Verstappen over the final podium spot. 


Vettel clears Perez for fifth with a great move into the Ascari chicane. His next opponent is Bottas, some 13s up the road.
