More Pain For Panis.

Prost driver Olivier Panis will be out of action until after Christmas following an operation to remove metal plates from his legs.

The plates were inserted following the Frenchman's Canadian GP crash last season, and are now due for removal following his remarkable recovery. Both of Panis' legs were broken in the shunt, and the second operation will prevent him from resuming testing duties until well after the annual break ends.

The Prost stalwart's place alongside Jarno Trulli will be taken by Apomatox F3000 star Stephane Sarrazin.
