Coulthard pays for giving Hakk a lift.
David Coulthard has been hit with an FIA fine for helping frustrated team-mate Mika Hakkinen back to the pits at the Spanish Grand Prix.
The Scot, himself less than happy after having to start the Barcelona race from the back of the grid and then hitting Giancarlo Fisichella's Benetton on the opening lap, stopped by the roadside to pick Hakkinen up - after the Finn's McLaren had expired within sight of the chequered flag and a first win of the year.

Coulthard, who finished fifth in the race as a result of his team-mate's demise, transported Hakkinen back to the paddock on the sidepod of his MP4-16, but incurred the wrath of both race officials and the FIA, who later slapped him with a fine for his troubles.
