Montoya completes first laps with FW25.
Today's WilliamsF1 launch ceremony was completed with a spot of on-track action, as Juan Montoya took the all-new BMW-powered FW25 for its inaugural laps around the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.

Wurz: McLaren can beat Ferrari.
West McLaren-Mercedes 'third driver' Alexander Wurz has said that his team can beat Ferrari this year. He also revealed that the MP4-17D - with, which the Woking based concern will start the 2003 season - will utilize many new parts including a heavily revised new suspension.

Valencia test - day three: 30 January.
McLaren-Mercedes continued to set the pace today [Thursday] at Valencia, with David Coulthard posting the quickest time of the week so far, a 1m 10.977s.

Verstappen tests for Minardi, tyre woes continue.
The second day of the Minardi team's opening test of the 2003 season, at Valencia's Circuit Ricardo Tormo, should have been a particularly satisfying occasion, as it marked the return of popular Dutch driver, Jos Verstappen, to the F1 arena.

Valencia test - day two: 29 January.
McLaren-Mercedes third driver Alexander Wurz set the quickest time today [Wednesday] at Valencia, beating Ferrari's Michael Schumacher by five tenths of a second. Wurz completed 68 laps and set a best time of 1 minute 11.104 seconds.

Valencia test - day one: 28 January.
Ferrari's Rubens Barrichello set the pace today [Tuesday] at Valencia, beating Jordan's Giancarlo Fisichella, who was a surprise second quickest, by three tenths of a second.
Button: There's no need to be nasty...
The working relationship between BAR new boy Jenson Button and veteran team-mate Jacques Villeneuve has not got off to the best of starts, but the still young Briton believes that he can more than handle it having dealt with politics throughout the first three years of his F1 career.

Puma signs two-year Minardi deal.
Sportswear giant Puma AG and the Minardi F1 team have agreed a two-year partnership contract where the German-based company becomes official racewear partner of the resurgent Italian operation.
Valencia test - day four: 24 January.
WilliamsF1 and McLaren shared an otherwise deserted Circuit Ricardo Tormo as the latest Formula One group test in Valencia drew to a close for the week.

BAR completes second 2003 test.
The Lucky Strike BAR-Honda team completed its second test of 2003 with Jacques Villeneuve and Jenson running at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, building on the fact that it is the first team to field two brand new chassis and put them through their paces.

Valencia test - day three: 23 January.
McLaren's Kimi Raikkonen regained top spot for the Woking team as testing at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo moved into its third day under clear and sunny skies.

Hakkinen to begin great adventure this weekend.

Paul Ricard test - day two: 22 January.
Renault F1 and Toyota continued testing today [Wednesday] at the Paul Ricard circuit, in the South of France.

Hakk completes successful test for Arctic Rally.
Mika Hakkinen successfully completed a three-day test in the forests around Rovaniemi in preparation for his first Arctic Rally, which starts this Friday in Finland.

Valencia test - day two: 22 January.
BMW WilliamsF1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya set the pace today [Wednesday] during testing at Valencia, the Colombian was around three tenths up on McLaren's Kimi Raikkonen.
