The Panasonic Toyota Racing has revealed the launch date for their 2005 challenger. The Toyota TF105 will be unveiled on Saturday, January 8 at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.

BAR-Honda driver Jenson Button has revealed that in his view Michael Schumacher is 'not unbeatable', and if Kimi Raikkonen or Juan Montoya were in the same situation as the German, 'they'd be winning straight away too'.

New McLaren bad news for Wurz.
Team McLaren-Mercedes have confirmed that Alexander Wurz will not test the new 2005 car, the MP4-20, in January, as he is too tall to fit into it.

BAR put up for sale.
The BAR Formula One team has officially been put up for sale by administrators Simon Morris and Andrew Hosking - but only to aid the restructuring of the team that will see Honda take a 45% stake in the Brackley based outfit.

Mateschitz: Coulthard will lead Red Bull.
David Coulthard will lead the Red Bull Racing team next season, according to quotes attributed to new owner Dietrich Mateschitz.
McLaren to swap title sponsor at mid-season.
McLaren's long-time title sponsor, West, will be replaced on the flanks of next year's MP4-20 from the end of the summer, as strict new tobacco advertising bans begin to take effect.

Reutemann 'enjoys' Ferrari F2004 'test'.
Carlos Reutemann was back at Maranello this week for a surprise test at Fiorano and the former Ferrari ace was quick to praise the F2004 which he reckoned was 'impressive'.

Surtees, Caborn confident over British GP.
Sports Minister Richard Caborn and former F1 champion John Surtees have both said they are confident that the British Grand Prix will take place in 2005.
Coulthard ready for F1 return.
David Coulthard has admitted that he is keen to prove himself in testing with the Red Bull Racing team this week, aware that it could possibly be his last chance of salvaging a Formula One drive for 2005.
Red Bull cans A1-Ring revamp.
Red Bull boss Dietrich Mateschitz has decided to end his interest in refurbishing Austria's A1-Ring circuit in an attempt to bring Formula One back to his homeland, claiming that his plans for the venue have been thwarted by the authorities.
