Because of the caution from Colton Herta's crash the cars are back in pit lane.

Colton Herta was looking great in second place but his Indy500 is over.

Despite too much damage to his car Herta is quick to get out of his car.

Colton Herta has shown that he had the best pace outside of the Team Penske cars and he has turned up today.

Herta is saving fuel and is sitting in second place behind Scott McLaughlin.

Scott McLaughlin has been on the radio to tell his team his clutch is 'horrible' when exiting pit lane.

After an unsafe release Rinus Veekay gets sent to the back of the grid.

Scott McLaughlin returns to the lead:

On the restart, Scott McLaughlin uses his new tyres to get the lead back from Conor Daly.

Since he is not in sync with the rest of the field for the pit stops Conor Daly is back out in front and will lead the field back to green once again.

After a mad scramble to get back out on track after the majority of the field dove into the pits, it was Alexander Rossi who won the race off of pit lane.

Another Honda engine goes up in smoke as Felix Rosenqvist pulls out of the Indy500 and another caution flag comes out.

After issues on Friday Santino Ferrucci is running in second place and is chasing down the race leader, Scott McLaughlin.

Kyle Larson had a poor restart from the first caution. However, 45 laps later the rookie is up from 14th to 9th place.

After not pitting since Lap Four Conor Daly enters the pits on Lap 44.

This shuffled Scott McLaughlin back into the lead.

After Conor Daly grabbed the lead of the Indy500 it was Linus Lundqvist ended up in the wall at Turn One.

After the majority of the field dove for pit lane, it was Sting Ray Robb who led a lap of the Indy500 as he led the field to the green flag once again.

After her before mentioned engine issue, Katherine Legge is out of her car.

After smoke came bellowing out of Katherine Legge's Honda power unit the caution flag came back out on Lap 23.

The only female driver in the Indy500 appears to have had a premature end to her Indy500 as her Honda power unit goes up in smoke after 23 laps.
