CART gets bigger global audience.
The CART FedEx Championship Series will have an even larger audience throughout the world beginning with this weekend's CART Grand Prix of Chicago as series partner Octagon CSI has finalized a deal with FOX Sports International to broadcast live races in five more regions of the globe.

After two days of meetings with its Franchise Board in early-June, CART has announced several rule changes slated to take effect during the 2002 season to reduce costs for teams and improve the competition on the race track.
