Red Bull wants to find Alex Albon a seat on the 2022 Formula 1 grid but says he will continue in his reserve driver role next year if it fails to do so.

Red Bull Formula 1 reserve Alex Albon sealed a dominant maiden victory in the DTM at the Nurburgring round.

Alex Albon has vowed to do everything he can in his attempts to try and win back a seat with Red Bull and return to the F1 grid in 2022.

Alex Albon will contest select DTM events alongside his role as reserve driver for the Red Bull F1 team in 2021.
