Ferrari CEO Sergio Marchionne has reiterated his Formula 1 team’s quit threat from the sport remains in place unless the Scuderia can find “acceptable solutions” with Liberty Media.

Bernie Ecclestone believes Ferrari’s threats to quit Formula 1 should be taken seriously, fearing the sport may not be able to survive without its most iconic team on the grid.

Ferrari’s threat to quit Formula 1 over Liberty Media’s future plans for the sport remains “serious”, according to chairman Sergio Marchionne. Ferrari is the only team to have raced in every F1 season since 1950 and is the sport’s most recognisable and successful brand.
