For the first time since 1982, MotoGP is returning to Finland to race at the purpose-built KymiRing in the latest expansion to the sport’s horizons as organisers look to old and new destinations.
Kimi Raikkonen says Formula 1 would head to Finland instantly “if somebody puts the money down” to cover the cost of hosting the sport, following the construction of the new KymiRing circuit.
New circuit KymiRing, set to host the Finnish MotoGP round from 2020, has undergone an inspection by MotoGP and FIM officials in preparation for the two-day test scheduled next month.
