Claire Williams says despite her team’s desperate start to the 2019 Formula 1 world championship the squad isn’t waiting for a miracle and is implementing its own fixes spearheaded by the return of co-founder Sir Patrick Head.

Robert Kubica believes Williams’ latest technical struggles are not directly comparable to its 2018 woes and says the team is plainly aware of its lack of grip and downforce which is restraining its efforts.

George Russell believes having Williams legend Sir Patrick Head return to the team in a technical consultancy role will act as a timely shot in the arm and provide both guidance and motivation.
