Sheffield Tigers have booked former favourite George Stancl for their Premier Trophy trip to Workington on Saturday (7pm). Stancl started his career with the Owlerton side in 1994 but now rides for Glasgow and he will make a guest appearance as cover for injured skipper Andre Compton.

Sheffield remain without an away win in the Premier Trophy despite making a sensational start in an extraordinary meeting at Derwent Park. It is highly unusual to see a meeting which includes both teams using the tactical ride facility - but that is exactly what happened here.
