Marco Melandri is confident his Aruba.it Racing Ducati squad will get on top of its technical issues which plagued him during the Thailand round and is eager to fightback at Aragon after losing the World Superbike championship lead to Jonathan Rea.

Jack Miller says he had to ignore his instincts and what his Pramac Ducati was telling him as he powered to a maiden MotoGP pole position in drying conditions at Termas de Rio Hondo.

While team-mate Jack Miller slid his way to a sensational pole position on last year's Ducati, GP18 rider Danilo Petrucci was left to look on from the pits. "I'm happy for Jack, who took a big risk [with slicks] but it paid off," he said.
