Morbidelli, Binder, Di Giannantonio and Marc Marquez have gone out on soft rear rain rubber. The rest are on medium. Rain is getting heavier, so that probably makes the soft the best option.

Rain looks heavier. He was also out on a used medium.
The pole shootout is GO!

Shoutout to Luca Marini. He's outqualified his Honda team-mate Joan Mir on his comeback from injury.
Zarco holds onto top spot ahead of Vinales. So, those two will progess to Q2.
Oliveira will start 13th ahead of Aldeguer, Marini, Fernandez, Mir, Rins, Ogura and Savadori.

Zarco improves again to a 1m28.370s. Most have been in the pits but he's just carrying on. That medium rear rain tyre is really working well in these mixed conditions.
Ai Ogura is really struggling in these conditions. He's almost a second off ninth place and is 2.8s down on the best time of the session.
Behind the top two, Oliveira is third ahead of Aldeguer, Marini, Fernandez, Mir, Savadori, Rins and Ogura.

Red sectors coming in all over the place.

The rain is all over the place. It has stopped in some spots of the track but is steady in others. This could well be a session where last over the line is the rider who goes fastest.
