The ground temp has gone up to 33 degrees just before this race.
The German Grand Prix is GO!
Marc Marquez leads from Bezzecchi and Di Giannantonio from seventh on the grid.
The warm-up lap is underway.
Michelin has confirmed that everyone is on the hard front and medium rear for this race.
Pedro Acosta's camp is pretty confident of a strong run for the Spaniard today from fourth on the grid.
He's yet to score a grand prix podium this year. At the same stage last year, he had two.
Alex Marquez also had a tricky sprint in eighth, but said his hand injury wasn't an issue for him.
However, 30 laps around this anticlockwise Sachsenring in dry conditions is going to really test his fitness today.
Big job on for Pecco Bagnaia today. He had a shocking run to 12th in the wet sprint yesterday and is coming from 10th on the grid.
Just 15 minutes to go.
MotoGP remains incredibly popular in Germany.
It has set a record crowd for the event with 256,441 spectators across the weekend.
For Sunday alone, the crowd figure is 98,573.
This race marks the halfway point of the championship and Marc Marquez starts it 78 points in the lead, after winning the sprint on Saturday.
Remember, he won every year at the Sachsenring between 2013 and 2021.
The initial tyre sheet suggests everyone will start the race on the medium rear and hard front.
But front tyre choice is a bit of a question mark as it is reasonably cool at the Sachsenring. It's currently 27 degrees C on the ground with just over 20 minutes until lights out.
Pitlane has opened for the field to carry out their sighting laps.
Marc Marquez is heading out to scrub in a set of wet tyres.
It's currently dry and we should get a dry race in. But there are some showers in the area that could affect proceedings.
As you will notice from that starting grid, we're down to just 18 riders for the grand prix.
Maverick Vinales has been ruled out after suffering a shoulder injury in qualifying, while Franco Morbidelli has withdrawn following a crash in the sprint.
Enea Bastianini and Somkiat Chantra were already absent.
