Rins holds Acosta at bay again into Turn 1 as Alex Marquez has a look at Acosta, but stays fourth.

Aldeguer is 6.3s clear at the front now at the start of lap 19.
Acosta is doing a great job to rally his pace and is 0.6s clear of Rins and Marquez.
Aldeguer's lead comes down to 6.5s as Acosta digs pretty deep for a PB lap in second. That's put 0.5s between himself and Rins.
This battle for second pretty much involves everyone down to 12th at this rate. Acosta is really holding up the pack.
Onto lap 17. Aldeguer is 6.6s clear now. Acosra is holding second from Rins, who is on the soft rear.
Alex Rins is putting Acosta under pressure. He hasn't had a podium since he was last a winner at COTA in 2023 on a Honda!
Aldeguer's lead now stands at six seconds on lap 16.
Alex Marquez is hounding Rins for third.
Bezzecchi is now in the medical centre.
Aldeguer, by the way, is 5.8s clear in the lead.
Contact between Fernandez and Marini at the last corner allows Alex Rins into third! Marini is wide at Turn 1 and is now down to eighth. Alex Marquez is fourth ahead of Fernandez.
Just outside of the top 10, it's Morbidelli, Di Giannantonio, Zarco and Chantra. Only 14 riders left in this race.
Aldeguer is now five seconds clear of Acosta at the start of lap 14.
The battle for second is swelling. Alex Marquez in sixth is in touch here and lapping quickly.

Marini gets second from Acosta at Turn 12. Fernandez tried at Turn 13 on Acosta but ran wide.

Aldeguer is 3.6s up the road from Acosta at the start of lap 12.
Aldeguer's pace is just ridiculous. He was 1.5s quicker than the riders behind last time around.

The battle now is for second and Acosta is still ahead of Marini.
